The approach I offer is the person-centred approach and what this means is that you, the client, lead the content and direction of a session.
Depending on your needs we might use techniques from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and/or NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).
My role as counsellor is to actively listen and support you to find your own solutions to issues you might have, in a non-judgemental way.
I specialise in online counselling using the media that suits you best - webcam, telephone, email or SMS.
You can have a single session of counselling for something that might be dealt with in that short time or you can commit to a longer series of sessions with regular reviews. A counselling session is 50 minutes. I will never make you have more counselling than you need. I am not able to give advice, although I would do my best to signpost you to the relevant support.
Fees are the same for counselling, coaching and careers guidance • 15-minute explore call: free • 50-minute ongoing weekly counselling appointment £45.00 • Reduced fee arrangement possible: please ask
Payments to be made via bank transfer 48 hours prior to each appointment. I will email you my bank details to secure your first appointment.
You can rearrange or cancel appointments up to 48 hours’ notice.
If you are unable to give 48 hours' notice or you miss the session without giving notice, payment will be due in full, except in the case of unpredictable and serious personal emergencies which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
I am currently unable to accept health insurance payments.
