Counselling supports mental health, as well as mental health issues. Perhaps you seem to have all the trappings of a nice life, but something seems a bit ‘off’.
Something is stopping you from feeling fulfilled, but you are not quite sure what that ‘something’ is. You might even feel the ‘something’ is ‘silly’.
Maybe you feel anxious, stressed by work or a relationship, stroppy teenagers and being a good enough parent, worried about someone else, or there’s too much stuff going on in your life because you are too busy putting the needs of others first.
Possibly there is a change on the horizon and you are not sure what to do.
You may need to adapt to remote working or returning to work after a long gap.
You’ve tried a few things to help yourself, because ‘it’s good to talk’.
You confided in family and friends, but felt judged, or they told you what to do, or they turned the conversation round to their own issues.
I listen, and I mean really listen to you in a non-judgmental way help you find your own path.
Perhaps you recognise that you do have some sort of issue, but you are not sure what or how counselling can help, or if I am the best person to support you, or if my approach is right for you.
It could be that you have experienced some sort of loss, a bereavement, redundancy maybe, breakdown of a relationship etc.
If you've gotten this far, maybe you're willing to go a little further. You’ve already taken that first step to find what you need. If you recognise yourself here, something resonates with you or it feels right then maybe I am the counsellor for you.
I can offer you a free 15-minute session to find out more and to see if the approach I offer is appropriate for you.
